Privacy policy
The short version
We collect what you choose to give us (your name and email for the launch list, or a message through the contact form) and, only if you say yes, how you use this website. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Last updated: October 20, 2026. Our Haus, 3012 Murray Street, Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada.
What we collect
- Launch list: your name and email, plus anything optional you add (company, interests, party size), the exact consent wording you agreed to and when, and the page and campaign that brought you.
- Contact form: who you are reaching out as, your name, email, organization if you add one, and your message.
- Website analytics, only with your consent: pages viewed, which parts of a page you saw or clicked, approximate location (worked out from your IP address, which is then discarded), device and browser type, page speed, and technical errors. If you say yes, we may also record anonymous session replays: a reconstruction of clicks and scrolling. Everything you type into a form is hidden from recordings.
- Security and reliability: Cloudflare checks requests and form submissions (Turnstile) to stop spam and abuse, using your IP address and browser signals. We also keep short-lived technical logs of form submissions (time, result and error codes, never what you typed) to find and fix problems.
Why we use it
- To email you about the launch event and Our Haus news you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe link (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation).
- To reply to your message and follow up on partnership enquiries.
- To understand which parts of the site help people and which confuse them, and to fix problems.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam.
Analytics and your choices
When you first visit, we count page views and which sections were seen without cookies or any lasting identifier. We ask before doing more. If you choose “Sure”, we store an anonymous identifier in your browser so visits can be counted accurately and may record anonymous session replays. If you choose “No thanks”, we stop collecting analytics.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as “No thanks” automatically. You can change your mind anytime with “Privacy choices” at the bottom of every page.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores sign-ups, contact messages and website content, filters spam, and delivers our emails.
- PostHog provides analytics and session replay, only when analytics is allowed. Data is stored in PostHog’s United States region.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, which shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. Some of them store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
- Launch list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Contact messages: 24 months after our last reply, unless we start working together.
- Analytics: anonymous events (no names, emails or IP addresses) are kept for up to 7 years by our analytics provider. Session replays are deleted automatically after 30 days. Technical logs are deleted within 7 days.
Your rights
